Babylon, the Sword of God

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel; say to the land of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Behold, I am against you, and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off both righteous and wicked from you. Because I will cut off both righteous and wicked from you, therefore My sword shall go out of its sheath against all flesh from south to north, that all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn My sword out of its sheath; it shall not return anymore.” Sigh therefore, son of man, with a breaking heart, and sigh with bitterness before their eyes. And it shall be when they say to you, ‘Why are you sighing?’ that you shall answer, ‘Because of the news; when it comes every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass,’ says the Lord God.”

(This is Pt 1 of a prophecy series.)

Today I took a break to study the new prophecies I’ve received. I don’t always rush to upload prophetic words; when they are urgent I post them right away but at times I prefer to wait a little, to pray and let the Holy Spirit reveal them more for me. I wanted to take stock of what these new ones are saying, read line by line to absorb and form my own conclusions on what the Lord said. I advise we all do the same when we read these things- there’s a lot to understand from them, so please don’t read these posts too quickly or at a surface level. Prophecy is layered, most of it is deeper than it looks.

I don’t hold back prophecies but I know the same heavy words over and over again can really grieve the spirit- listeners get weighed down and believe we’re doomed, there’s no hope. Brothers and sisters, indeed we are in a time where hope is rapidly fading from this world as darkness gains the stage, but I try always to temper these posts with Grace. I see hope, I see a chance for all who will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is our Hope, our Helper, He won’t leave us confounded and at the mercy of the devil in these last days.

We must get to know the Lord like never before. Speaking to all visitors to this blog: if you’re still exploring Christianity or you think it’s a joke I strongly advise you to make a decision once and for all to serve GOD ALMIGHTY, and God alone. It’s time to stop resisting God, to stop wasting time at the fringes; it’s time to come into the sheepfold for good. None of us know when the gate will be shut. That goes for your daily life too. I truly believe that life in itself is a reason to rejoice-  so many people died senselessly and suddenly around me this year that I’m truly grateful to be alive. I don’t take anything for granted! Tomorrow isn’t promised, even to those who know Jesus- so in all things I advise people to live boldly, fully, without excuses.

Stop procrastinating, stop blaming others for where you are in life. Instead make a value decision that EVEN IF someone else delayed or limited you thus far- you will now take the wheel out of their twisted little hands and begin driving yourself (with the Holy Spirit as cheerleader and guide), to a better destination. Life often “happens” aside from our plans, but Life is also a strong reflection of the choices we make. Now more than ever we must strive to consistently make the right ones, and that involves having Christ as your Lord and Saviour. 

Anyway… I’ve been reviewing these prophecies and I see a trend for 2020 that’s hard to miss. I am not making any “predictions” for 2020 so don’t get misled here; I’m saying that what I see in the decade that’s about to break over us is not good. I felt disheartened. “Lord, people will be so stressed to hear this. They might be so scared or burdened, at a loss for how to prepare.” The only conclusion I’ve reached is that God wants us here in America to become SOBER. I repeat, SO-BER. These words are stern, hard, like a slap in the face: “Wake up. Stop sleeping. Stop swallowing those lies on TV. Pay attention and realise your life will depend on the preparations you make; if you believe what the Lord is saying you will stop scoffing and prepare yourselves for a decade that is nothing like any other before it. So start reaching a different set of conclusions than what you previously believed.”

All prophecies so far involve Babylon the fallen, aka the United States of America. Many of these themes have been spoken before on this blog: the fixed and coming judgement, the sin of New York City, the fall of government and rise of DICTATORSHIP as a wicked surprise in this highly modern era, all of this has been said before and will no doubt be said again. God says He will judge this nation and He will judge it. There is no forgiveness for America because there is no repentance in America, even 2 million people repenting out of 327 million would not turn the tide of God’s promised wrath against this country, and we don’t even have that many truly repenting. Please see prophecy here: ‘Defeated at Last’ and ‘A Cup Of Wrath’. Heartfelt repentance tenderises God’s heart so, so much; He is deeply moved when we cry out and confess our sins. It allows Him to show us mercy. But America refuses to repent, on the contrary- we are getting bolder, brasher and more unbelievable in our sins every day. THE NEWS IS UNBELIEVABLE (which is why I don’t watch it, but people keep sending me stuff.)

Repentance, nationwide repentance and intercession for forgiveness of sins, would turn the tide of the judgement of any nation. But Babylon is already written in scripture as the brazen hearted, shameless, unrepentant woman, always eager to do more sin until her sudden destruction.
