13 The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.
2 “Lift up a banner on the high mountain,
Raise your voice to them;
Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles.
3 I have commanded My sanctified ones;
I have also called My mighty ones for My anger—
Those who rejoice in My exaltation.”
4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains,
Like that of many people!
A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together!
The Lord of hosts musters
The army for battle.
5 They come from a far country,
From the end of heaven—
The Lord and His weapons of indignation,
To destroy the whole land.
6 Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand!
It will come as destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore all hands will be limp,
Every man’s heart will melt,
8 And they will be afraid.
Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them;
They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth;
They will be amazed at one another;
Their faces will be like flames.
9 Behold, the day of the Lord comes,
Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger,
To lay the land desolate;
And He will destroy its sinners from it.
10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations
Will not give their light;
The sun will be darkened in its going forth,
And the moon will not cause its light to shine.
11 “I will punish the world for its evil,
And the wicked for their iniquity;
I will halt the arrogance of the proud,
And will lay low the haughtiness of the [e]terrible.
12 I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold,
A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens,
And the earth will move out of her place,
In the wrath of the Lord of hosts
And in the day of His fierce anger.
14 It shall be as the hunted gazelle,
And as a sheep that no man [f]takes up;
Every man will turn to his own people,
And everyone will flee to his own land.
15 Everyone who is found will be thrust through,
And everyone who is captured will fall by the sword.
16 Their children also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes;
Their houses will be plundered
And their wives ravished.
17 “Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them,
Who will not regard silver;
And as for gold, they will not delight in it.
18 Also their bows will dash the young men to pieces,
And they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb;
Their eye will not spare children.
19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms,
The beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride,
Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 It will never be inhabited,
Nor will it be settled from generation to generation;
Nor will the Arabian pitch tents there,
Nor will the shepherds make their sheepfolds there.
21 But wild beasts of the desert will lie there,
And their houses will be full of owls;
Ostriches will dwell there,
And wild goats will caper there.
22 The hyenas will howl in their citadels,
And jackals in their pleasant palaces.
Her time is near to come,
And her days will not be prolonged.”
Good afternoon to all on The Master’s Voice, hope you’re well and blessed in Jesus’ name. The banner scripture is long today because the Lord gave me the entire chapter this morning to proclaim against the United States.
As I’ve explained before- a proclamation is when God chooses someone to read out a charge, or maybe a portion of scripture or a prophecy as a direct indictment of a person, group of persons, nation, nations or the whole world.
Today’s scripture has been given me to this whole week. I’ve been seeking God in fasting for some very important things, yet every time I’d say “Lord what will you speak to me today?” it had nothing to do with me and everything to do with this chapter. When that happens I know I’m being told to understand the passage and that something is most like coming after that. So I read it aloud each day and I studied it, and this is basically what it says.
Babylon is a nation, she was and she still is. She is a capital of sin, a den of decadence, a habitation of demons. “Habitation of demons” is exactly what it sounds like, a place where spirits that were cast out from the eternal presence of God meet and congregate to have fun. And why do they do this, why are they able to do this? Because the people who live in that habitation give them an open door, a welcome mat to come in and join them (the people) in frolicking, merry-making, enjoyment of sensual pleasures and building up a cup of sin and retribution for themselves without knowing it. That is America today.
The great tragedy of human beings (I think), is not knowing or understanding that God did not create them for destruction. This is something that’s not taught enough in church, not preached with enough passion so that people become less fascinated with this pointless rhetoric of “Come as you are! God wants you just as you are! Come and swim in the river of his love!” and instead begin to take time to build lasting rewards for their immortal souls. I happen to be very careful of my soul, I’ve only got one so why waste it by living carelessly? No way…
Christians, or to the seekers who keep getting this blog sent to you by your irritating mom or uncle or friend who just won’t stop pestering you about ‘getting religion’- I believe you need to hear this. We were not created to perish horribly in fire. If God is ultimate wisdom and understanding then why would He create beautiful things only to burn them up? That makes no sense. All you have to do is see a friend or two have a baby, look at them all helpless, sightless and so perfect, to know that there’s no way the One who made that life is sitting in heaven in dark blue robes with gold edging, sharpening His javelins in glee for the day He will destroy that life. Nope.
There is —-> Nothing Like That Going On Up There. Up there are urgent meetings, councils, prayers, discussions, as well as CONSTANT PLEADINGS BY JESUS THE ADVOCATE EXTRAORDINAIRE, FOR OUR SOULS. God has said it and His word can be trusted: “I take no pleasure in the death of one sinner.” Here is the full verse below.
Say to them: ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’ – (Ezekiel 33:11)
So then if we were taught better OR if we stopped being such entitled, lazy ‘followers’ of pastors in skinny jeans and enough hair gel to sink the Titanic all over again, if we KNEW FOR OURSELVES that we were created for love, fellowship, tutelage (teaching by someone better qualified than ourselves, who is Jesus), and communion-
If we knew that we are people created to love and be loved by God and not for destruction, if this was what was coming off the pulpit more instead of so much fluff and smoke-machine drenched sermons, wouldn’t we think twice about how we live? Whether you’re American, Canadian, African, Indian or European right now, whether you’re from the Middle East or the furthest reaches of Asia-
If you KNEW you were created to search and find the heart of your KING, your CREATOR, your LORD, not to perish by war and famine and rape by foreign solders or whatever, wouldn’t you want that? Wouldn’t you choose that, wouldn’t you say “God help me do better, be my Father, my father died and left me, my father was afraid to raise me and left me, my father is an excellent man and he loves me but I STILL want the love of a KING who is also a Father”– wouldn’t you choose that?
I know I would. I am only one voice in this huge and busy world, but I tell you I wouldn’t give up Jesus for ANYTHING. EVER. What I’ve found in Him is better than my own skin, I love God and I pray our relationship only sweetens and deepens with every birthday I get.
Choose Christ. Today. They’re lying to you on TV about a million different things as you sit there and believe it, but on this blog I’m telling you bald-faced truth. The Lord Jesus will one day split the sky (after all the other demonic things have come down from it); He will come down to us and there will be reckoning. There will be payment. There will be blood and we as human beings do not want to participate in any of that painful, negative stuff. It’s scary to see it in movie form as I do now and it will be one zillion times worse in person. So to avoid all this it is better to cease covenant with this fallen world and enter the covenant of eternal life. We are in this world but we were told NOT TO BE PART OF IT.
I enjoy preaching the gospel so… that’s just my heart’s content for the day. 😄
Now to the scripture. Isaiah 13 says:
See a nation marked for destruction. Marked, you say? Yes I tell you, MARKED. Raise your hand as if to start a race, give the signal and let the conquerors come in. Wave your hand so they come in through the noble gates [borders]. These are my sanctified ones [specially chosen as the fitting punishment, I God set them aside for this moment myself]. They are mighty and will carry out the full extent of my anger, so when they strike you O Babylon do not wonder why they are so angry. THEY ARE CHANNELING MY JUDGEMENT AND MY WRATHnwhich is very great towards you.
Do you hear that rumble? What could it be, sounding like a multitude on the mountains, like so many kingdoms gathered together! God has called an army for battle- they come from a far country [Russia and China, and allies with them]. From heaven’s end [the horizon point]; they are God’s weapons of punishment, come to destroy the land.
WAIL, FOR THE DAY OF GOD’S JUDGEMENT IS AT HAND. It’s nothing less than destruction from God, and when that day comes every hand will be limp. Men’s hearts will melt in fear, they will be so afraid that they will look like women in labour [bent over and groaning]. They will stare at one another in terror, raw shock will flush their faces to a deep red. See! The day of Yah has arrived. Cruel it is and wroth with anger, it will desolate the land. In that day even the sun won’t shine, the stars and constellations will hide themselves [darkness, possible solar and lunar eclipse shall be seen, days of darkness]. The sun will be totally dark and the moon will have no light to give. [See Matt 24:29; Rev. 6:12-14]
I will punish the whole world for their wickedness and the wicked will bear the penalty of their iniquity. I will bring the arrogance of proud people to a total STOP, and strike every haughty spirit that does terrible things. [Isaiah 2:12-18] Men will be harder to find [alive] than gold, a man will be a treasure on earth if he survives. I will even shake the heavens, and the earth will jump out of her place [This is a massive earthquake of previously unseen and unexperienced proportions; none of the continents will be in their original places after this disaster strikes- See Rev. 6:12].
In the day of the wrath of God and in the hour of His fierce anger, the stranger will flee like a deer from a hunter, they will be like sheep lost from their owner. Every man will go back to his own country, back to the land he really comes from. [America will be emptied of foreigners, God has said repeatedly that no foreigner will want to share in her punishments.] If any are found alive they will be stabbed and killed; people will die by violence and children will be smashed to death right before their parents. Homes will be robbed and women raped right before their husbands.
Behold! I will stir up the Medes against them [I the Lord will rouse and trigger A POWERFUL AND EXCELLENT FIGHTING PEOPLE AGAINST BABYLON], men who don’t care for gold and can’t be bribed with silver. Their weapons will dash young fighters to pieces, and they will have no pity for children. Their eye will spare no-one. Babylon [America with all her cities], the glory of the nation’s pride will be like when God completely demolished Sodom and Gomorrah.
It will never have people living in it again; no future generations will dwell here. No one will stop there again on a visit, no agriculture or industry will ever take place there again. Only the desert’s wild beasts will inhabit the territory – owls and ostriches will live in their houses, wild goats and other demonic creatures of the night will occupy her space. Hyenas and night crawlers will fill her once beautiful palaces [the expensive and pricey homes and penthouses]. That is how it will be.
Hear this word: Her time is near to come, and her days will not be extended anymore.
This is the word of the LORD, the proclamation of Yah – I have brought it faithfully as it was given to me.
