Death In The Pot – March 27, 2020

JEREMIAH 26:7- 18

The priests, the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speak these words in the house of the Lord. But as soon as Jeremiah finished telling all the people everything the Lord had commanded him to say, the priests, the prophets and all the people seized him and said, “You must die! Why do you prophesy in the Lord’s name that this house will be like Shiloh and this city will be desolate and deserted?” And all the people crowded around Jeremiah in the house of the Lord.

10 When the officials of Judah heard about these things, they went up from the royal palace to the house of the Lord and took their places at the entrance of the New Gate of the Lord’s house. 11 Then the priests and the prophets said to the officials and all the people, “This man should be sentenced to death because he has prophesied against this city. You have heard it with your own ears!”

12 Then Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people: “The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the things you have heard. 13 Now reform your ways and your actions and obey the Lord your God. Then the Lord will relent and not bring the disaster he has pronounced against you. 14 As for me, I am in your hands; do with me whatever you think is good and right. 15 Be assured, however, that if you put me to death, you will bring the guilt of innocent blood on yourselves and on this city and on those who live in it, for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.

16 Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and the prophets, “This man should not be sentenced to death! He has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

17 Some of the elders of the land stepped forward and said to the entire assembly of people,18 “Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah. He told all the people of Judah, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.’

Today I have come with a brief teaching from the Lord, and there is a word from Him inside it as well. Early this morning I saw men cutting up meat and putting it in a pot. I saw this from above the pot, the steam made things murky and I couldn’t really see who was doing this. I saw the meat was fresh and bloody, it was cut into pieces and water poured over it, then the pot was set on high fire to boil. After the people cutting meat went away I came down and approached the pot to see better what was in it. It was people. Different colours and races, men and women, heads, arms, torsos and legs cut at the various joints and water poured on it and set to boil. DEATH. The image lifted.

Brothers and sisters, you have read the scripture set at the top of this post. It is long but (if you read it slowly) not complicated at all. I feel we’ve reached a point of dramatic tension in the narrative, a point where there is and will constantly be (like in the old days) a disagreement between those who prophesy the true word of God and those who prophesy comforting lies that people want to hear.

As you saw in the passage, those who prefer comfort will always get mad when somebody speaks the truth of God. That’s because truth is rarely comfortable. Truth is confrontational, prickly, and often dangerous- both for those speaking it and those willing to hear it. However comfort is the standard for today’s society. People like easy things, things that don’t need fighting for, things just within reach. When we get stressed by life, worried by personal circumstances or hit by things beyond our control we end up distressed, worried and desperately in need of COMFORT, but where do we go looking for it?

That’s when most of the world looks to the news, the government, their cultural and religious leaders- anyone willing to tell them what they want to hear. Our leaders often face terrible pressure to lie to us, because they know if they say what the real situation is people may  rip them to pieces. (If you don’t believe that take a look at the comments section of recent news articles around the world; people are blaming their governments and cursing one another online like you wouldn’t believe. Everything is so out of hand.)

Let’s be real here: when the status quo is messed with people get crazy, but Truth doesn’t care about that. Truth is almost always on a mission to mess up the status quo, especially if that truth is from God. However if comfort is confronted or threatened men will jump on your back, drag you to some authority and try to get you killed if they can. Only when God stands for you, protecting and validating you, then no matter what they do they won’t be able to kill you. He will make other voices remember Truth and speak up for you. They’ll say, “Hey, a few years ago somebody prophesied the same thing- this new prophecy has to be true!”

And that’s how you’ll get out of trouble (for that moment), like how Jesus avoided being thrown off a cliff for saying He was the Messiah when… surprise… He was. The dramatic tension in the earth between true messengers of God and false voices of comfort will escalate as the lies and deadly comfort of satan and his mouthpieces clash with the few true messengers of God and His truth. This is surely going to happen.

Notice in the passage it is the religious authorities who first got mad at Jeremiah for what he said. His words clashed with what THEY said- truth and false prophecy fighting in the public arena for the hearts and minds of men. Yes, they were angry because what Jeremiah said did NOT match the official narrative, it didn’t match the info they’d already released to the public. His words set their words in danger of being exposed as —-> LIES.

False prophecy is comforting because it usually plays into the crazy and misplaced desires in the hearts of men. For instance: If there’s a terrible fire burning up the woods and that fire was sent by God as judgment there’ll always be a huuuge crowd saying stuff like maybe the fire started itself, praying for rain, praying for who knows what. And there’ll be a group of guys going “God didn’t do this! God would NEVER do this, that’s not God! Rain will come! The fire brigade will solve this!” As sure as anything people will flock to those guys, fixing hopeful eyes on them and saying “Yeah, yeah you’re right. It’s gonna rain, and of course God didn’t do this.”

But there will ALSO be one guy on the porch going- “Such and such part of the woods have  got to burn, because that’s where this town has sacrificed babies for the last 200 years. I saw it in my dream folks, the Lord told me last week- it’s got to burn.”

Then of course the crowd will get hateful, violent, tie him up and drag him into those woods to burn too. Yet I say this: whether he burns, or maybe if only his ropes burn but he lives and escapes to the next town, the rest of the crowd will watch in amazement as exactly the acreage he said burns, and then the rain falls and the fire stops at last. Then they’ll scratch their heads and say- “Man. Maybe we shouldn’t have killed him after all. He was right!”

This is the way of people. And God knows that.

This prophecy is therefore not one about how the fire is a fluke, or how rain will soon fall.

This is just a short word to say, the Lord told me pestilence will burn among us until it has taken its share. When it has taken the share appointed to it, it will stop. It will not stop because they’ve locked us all inside. Make no mistake, it will not stop because some scientist is a genius and came up with a cure.  That may be the humanistic physical way it comes to end but remember always (especially if you’re a Christian reading this) – ALL POWER BELONGS TO GOD. No sparrow falls to its death unless He knows it, so please be aware that mankind [who are greater than sparrows] cannot fall to its death without God knowing, watching, marking very name that falls, and seeing every home that mourns.

I repeat, the Lord said to me that pestilence (see Revelation 6:7-8) will burn until it has its share, and then it will be stopped.

So we pray now for the mark of mercy and survival upon all heads, knowing however that some heads will be lost, not because Celestial is wicked and says so, but because Celestial saw people cut into portions of raw meat to be boiled in a pot of death.

Prayer: Lord God eternal Rock of Ages, we worship you and acknowledge always that you are God Almighty and therefore greater than all. Among men and in all creation we cannot find such a God as powerful, as good, as loving or as perfect as you. You are so different from us God, your ways are not our ways and your thoughts not our thoughts. You are higher than us in all things- and we bow down to worship you as GOD. Father we lift up our voices in repentance at this time; we confess that we are sinful and have departed as one man from your commandments to live as gods unto ourselves. We have allowed wickedness to find a home among us, we have loved comfort and have not worked to purify ourselves to the point of shedding blood. Because of that we are ALL guilty, and we repent for the sins of humanity as a whole. We beg you to have mercy. We ask you to consider us and our families and children- we ask for the plague to be turned from our doors and for the rain to fall. Remove death from the pot for us Jesus! HAVE MERCY O LORD. You said if your people who are called by your name will humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways and REPENT, you will hear from Heaven and heal their land. Heal us O Lord, and heal our foundations too. Wipe away our iniquity, forgive our sin by the Blood of Jesus Christ and please show mercy and lovingkindness to us once again. We ask you from the bottom of our hearts to help us in our time of need. We cannot do this alone; we truly need you God. We love you, you are the only God we know. In Jesus name we pray, thank you Lord, amen.

Sister, I will be posting both of your most recent blog posts this weekend without further delay. I pray that all would be drawn to them, and take them seriously….God is getting more people’s attention now that the nation is in pain and turmoil. Isn’t that the way it usually goes…people don’t cry out until they’re in pain.
Again, thank you and may God grant you an abundance of peace and grace

I’ve been warning about the coming judgement for many years, beginning back on the old AOL forums and then Topix, until it was discontinued by the censors so that folks could no longer approach the most unbelieving people across the Internet.. No one believed me then, and most don’t believe me now, even the most ardent church going evangelicals. I asked one the other day…”Why wouldn’t God judge America?” I got no response. Most still believe the fantasy that America is a Christian god-fearing nation. (They don’t read your blog).
I’ve been told by another, laughing and ridiculing, and calling me out as a clueless Christian, that God was going to bring a great end time revival…well, He probably will, but only after He’s gotten people’s attention as He had to do time and again with His people Israel. And…after first a great deal of national repentance which for sure has been so needful and a long time coming. The Lord has been so merciful and long-suffering.
Folks have bible’s…they do read them, but sometimes I believe with a strange mindset as if God wouldn’t, (or won’t) do the same thing to America. America has acted like a spoiled, over indulged child for way to long. In a strange sort of way, I am relieved the Lord is acting. The Word is a sharp double edged sword. But I will pray for the lost, those in pain, the suffering, the nation, everyone to come to repentance and the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ? Yes, I will, and more intently and eagerly than ever.
Dear Father, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven…Amen
    God bless you sister Celestial.
