“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord GOD. “Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you. – (Ezekiel 18:30)

Last night just before bed the Lord said: 

There will be a 7.5 scale earthquake in Venezuela. It will shake the cities and buildings causing major damage and loss of life. 

I said ‘Yes Lord, I will pray about it tomorrow.’

Today the Lord awakened me with these words:

“Venezuela, Mexico City, Cancun– All three will receive major earthquakes that leave the urban centres smashed, cause massive property and structural damage, and create a large death toll. Venezuela will be 7.5, Mexico City 7.1, and Cancun 7.2 or more. For the sin of flow of blood, human sacrifice and ritual murder that goes on unabated in these cities- I will punish them with signs.”

Ritual murder is any kind of murder that follows a covenant pattern, meaning murder done by promise and agreement to find and kill a human being. There are too many ‘hits’ being done in MEXICO- Murders and revenge murders, further retaliation murders that ofttimes involve innocent people and family members of those who are involved in gangs and drug-related activities. These innocent bystanders are targeted as a way to bring sorrow and grief to the gang member or drug dealer if he or she has successfully managed to escape the group they belonged to, or if they fail to do their work. Their sisters are often raped, children are snatched from schools, women from their homes, even fathers are being sacrificed as ‘accomplices’ to crimes they had no idea their son or nephew was mixed up in. “The flow of blood is unacceptable and for this I will punish these nations and their cities, especially Mexico. They are defiling the land with BLOOD.”

Then I had a brief picture of a scene from the Mel Gibson movie, Apocalypto. Apocalypto tells the story of a young South American warrior captured into slavery and taken from his peaceful village into a world of ritual Aztec murder, human sacrifice and general all round bloody insanity. All of his friends are murdered during a high festival to the gods but by a miracle this young man manages to escape. During the human sacrifice while awaiting his turn to be killed he witnesses highly excessive and close-up bloodshed- the victims’ throats were cut and their bodies unceremoniously rolled down hundreds of steps of a high temple. This young man miraculously escaped but as he ran he saw all the rest of his friends put to death, and warriors were sent to track him down and bring him back to be killed. Please pay attention to this analogy; this is exactly what’s happening in Mexico City and other parts of South America because of gang wars, drug wars, and cartels operating every conceivable type of crime.

Vision: So this morning as the Lord spoke about this crime wave I saw the Apocalypto scene of throats being cut and bodies rolled from the temple. By this I realised cutting throats is a preferred method of murder in these places- it’s virtually untraceable and the killer can leave the scene immediately knowing his victim will not live. I also saw vans pull up on abandoned corners and roll dead bodies out; I saw dead people being dropped off on every corner with horrible electrocution burns on their hands, faces and genitals. Their fingerprints were burned and their faces were burned, it was hard to identify victims. I saw bodies tossed out naked and clothed, and the police were so angry, frustrated and terrified. No clues- nobody saw anything and nobody talks to them when they ask questions. Even within their ranks many work for the murderers; they keep an eye on cops who work too hard to solve murders and kill them to avoid discovery.

I saw men clamp their hands over women’s faces and drag them out of their homes; I saw young men seized who were walking on street corners in BROAD DAYLIGHT and not a single person said anything or even looked at them to intervene. I saw an atmosphere of ABSOLUTE TERROR over the urban centres of Mexico like a fine mist or spray- it was tangible terror you could see and feel. Nobody wanted to be killed by speaking up to help an abductee, nobody wanted to become an abductee, yet everybody was a potential abductee. The city, MEXICO CITY was shown like a tight fist squeezing a human being ’til blood burst out of him and oozed out of the hand. The depiction of rampant and random violence was extreme and I felt depressed at seeing how many died.

Revelation: The Lord also gave me understanding that lust for power in Mexico is so extreme that the entire government is riddled with workers and spies loyal to the drug trade, gun trade, rival turf gang warfare and what is called ‘the honey trade’ [this is an outright term for human trafficking for women and girls especially, I did not see any men or boys being put into vans and carried across the border to America]. Because of this  corruption has reached the highest levels of the Mexican government – right up to heads of departments like Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Politicians, etc in the different regions, and up to the Presidential office itself that is riddled with spies and those serving the power centres OUTSIDE of the elected offical structure. I saw it’s almost like a second government exists in Mexico, with power to make demands and issue decrees that are more feared and operate HIGHER than what the President of Mexico and his officials say. People fear the silent government more than the real one, they operate on a “Who is more powerful and who will kill me faster?” convenience scale. Therefore ordinary people are disobeying laws to do things like carry drugs for dealers, become informants etc. They become mules and traffickers because of threats against themselves or their families, and the social order is being completely ripped to pieces because of that.

I did not see Venezuela but their crime is the same: ritual murder, covenant murder (agreement to murder or punish a particular person, group, or their relatives by murder), and rampant spilling of blood in human sacrifice. For these things earthquake activity is about to hit these nations. I say to Mexico City, Cancun and Venezuela REPENT and be baptised in the name of Jesus. The Lord has judged you but there is time as a nation to turn back from the practice of wickedness and murder and begin to do holiness! There is need for repentance and Christian intercession in these areas, seeking forgiveness for the bloodshed that accuses these countries in the spirit. 

“Again, when a wicked man turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life.” – (Ezekiel 18:27) 

“Let every one abandon his evil way and evil deeds, and dwell in the land which the LORD has given to you and your forefathers forever and ever;” – (Jeremiah 25:5)

Previously the Lord showed me the link between where Mexico City is now and where excessive Aztec human sacrifice in their ancient capital used to happen- see that post here. There is an ancestral spirit of lust for power, ritual murder and violence hanging over Mexico, prayers have to be made for them or the innocent will continue to perish with the guilty. Please have compassion as believers to spend some of your prayer time interceding for other people and countries besides your own- Ephesians 6:18– “Praying with all manner of PRAYER and SUPPLICATION (specific, targeted requests) in the Spirit, being watchful to do this with perseverance and precise intercession for ALL THE SAINTS”. Christians in some places face heavy attack by demonic principalities, they need help to turn the tide of wickedness in their countries. I ask you to add these cities and nations to your prayer time, indeed please develop a burden for the things on this blog and press them into prayer. May God bless you all in Jesus name, amen.

Heavenly Father God, I come to you in the bent and broken posture of true repentance. I have realised that I am not able to live a perfect life for you, and I am sorry for that. I am not able to serve you as you require, not on my own, and I ask your help today to be forgiven of my sins and given a new lifeline in the Person of your Son Jesus Christ. I have heard the words of your mouth, and I believe that there is no other worthy to be called GOD except you. Lord accept my repentance today. Have mercy on me, and favour me, and accept me into your family. Wash my sins away with the Blood of Jesus. Cleanse me God, and baptise me with the fire of the Holy Spirit to remove the vestiges of my sinful past. I want to belong to you, to walk with you, to know you as you already know me. I turn away from my old life, and I renounce everything I used to do that was evil in your eyes. I choose Jesus Christ today as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you God for hearing my prayer, I mean it from my heart and confess it with my mouth right now- Jesus Christ IS LORD. In Jesus name, amen.
